Foodies, business owners and managers, and schools bring their groups to Zingerman’s to learn, taste, and have fun! We can design and schedule a tour for your group. You can visit any of the above producer tours, shop for delicious food, or attend a customized ZingTrain workshop about Zingerman’s approach to customer service or other business practices. Zingerman’s Producers Tours

Tour the producers at Zingerman’s southside campus (across town from the Deli)! Each tour lasts approximately one hour. Please see the description and contact information just below, for each business – most prefer to be contacted by phone.

Zingerman’s Bakehouse

Take a behind the scenes tour of our bakehouse including bread, pastry, and packaging. You can also get a peek into Zingerman’s Candy Manufactory. Tours meet at CAKE!, our custom cake room, and end at our Bakeshop for samples and the opportunity to purchase some of our delicious breads and pastries. Zingerman’s Creamery

One of our cheesemakers will lead the whey and give the inside scoop on how we make artisan cheeses and old-fashioned gelato (that’s Italian ice cream)! Every Sunday, beginning at 2pm for $5 per person. Visit The Cheese Shop to purchase cheese, gelato, and cheese making supplies to enjoy at home. Zingerman’s Coffee Company

On this tour, you will learn how we source, select, roast, cup, and brew our incredible coffee selections. Steve Mangigian and/or Allen Leibowitz, co-managing partners of Zingerman’s Coffee Company will host a tasting of some of some rare, small batch coffees roasted fresh on the premises. After the tour, you can purchase freshly roasted beans, coffee and tea brewing equipment, or grab a latte to go! Please contact Steve at 734-929-6060 to schedule and price a tour for your group.

Zingerman’s Tour de Food

Zingerman’s Tour de Food is a self-guided tour of our retail businesses: Zingerman’s Delicatessen, Zingerman’s Roadhouse, Zingerman’s Bakehouse, Zingerman’s Creamery, and Zingerman’s Coffee. If you drive around to visit all the retail businesses within 24 hours, as well as sign up to receive a Zingerman’s Mail Order catalog, you’ll receive a free gift! Just let the first business you visit know that you’re doing a Tour de Food, and they’ll have information to give you.
